Corythoraptor jacobsi (meaning “helmeted thief”) is an extinct genus of oviraptorid theropod dinosaur that lived in South China during the Late Cretaceous period around 67-66 million years ago. It was 1.6 meters long. And was omnivorous meaning it could eat anything it felt like. It ate plants, eggs, small animals and baby dinosaurs.
It lived in the Nanxiong Formation with it’s relatives Banji, Ganzhousaurus, Huanansaurus, Jiangxisaurus, Nankangia, and Tongtianlong. The sauropod Gannansaurus, the hadrosaur Microhadrosaurus, the Therizinosaur Nanshiungosaurus, and the Tyrannosaur Qianzhousaurus.
