Gyrosteus mirabilis was a largee chondrostea fish from the Lower Jurassic marine deposits of the United Kingdom. Gyrosteus mirabilis was an extinct ray-finned fish that lived during the Jurassic. It was found near Whitby, United Kingdom and was about 5 meters long.
