Lagerpeton is the name given to a genus of basal dinosauromorph from the Ladinian (Middle Triassic). Lagerpeton is known from several specimens of hindlimbs, hips, vertebrae, and feet. It was about 0.7 metres (2 ft) long and was found in the ChaƱares Formation of Argentina. It has unique feet, with an unusually long fourth toe. The type species, Lagerpeton chanarensis, was described by Romer in 1971. It was related to Dromomeron, known from Late Triassic rocks of the southwestern United States.[1]
