In the geological timescale, the Přídolí epoch (from 418.7 ± 2.7 million years ago to 416 ± 2.8 million years ago) occurred during the Silurian Period. It was the last epoch of the Silurian Period.
Life[]
Cooksonia and other early plants (rhyniophytes) are preserved in what were the nearshores, and freshwater river deposits. These were often associated found with eurypterids and other first land animals.
