Pangupterus is a toothed Pterosaur found in modern day China.
Facts[]
Pangupterus is found by a nearly complete jawbone. It was said to be a Pterodactyloid just like the more well known Pterodactylus and the family known as the Pteranodontidae. It was the first fossil described in July in the year of 2016.
Classification[]
Based on the partial jawbone it was believed to be a Pterodactyloid more closer to Pterodactylus and Late Cretaceous pterosaurs such as Quetzalcoatlus and Pteranodon.
